Windows provides this functionality for compatibility purposes. It's not
used often, but some old, or perhaps poorly written programs simply can't
handle rich color depth.
Follow the steps to fix this issue on your computer.
1. Close the application
2. Right click on the shortcut you use to start the application
3. Properties
4. Compatibility
5. Uncheck "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution" (note that other checked options in this tab can also cause problems - "Compatibility mode" can cause hangs, "Run in 256 colors" can affect the colors of websites)
6. Press OK
7. Start the application
In some cases, the application may not respond especially while launching games because of high resolution. If you face this problem, you can change the resolution and try to launch the application.
Hope, this is is helpful.
Thanks.
