Audio device is disabled, No volume, Sound drivers are Installed.

No sound and Volume control has "X" icon even when the proper sound drivers are installed.

To fix this problem.

Open the Registry key.
Back up or Export  the registry key before making any changes in Registry.

Find the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\

Right click on "MMDevices" select permissions

Click add then click advance and then click on "Find Now" then you'll have the list select "Everyone"

Click OK twice and select Everyone at Groups or usernames box and be sure to select Full Control and Read means both are ticked.

Follow the same procedure for following registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\Audio\Render

After making changes, you must restart the computer to check the issue.

If the problem persists, you can also try the next step

Go to start search and type cmd search will return cmd.exe right click on this and select 'run as administrator' at the prompt type:-

net localgroup Administrators /add networkservice
press enter then type:
net localgroup Administrators /add localservice
press enter then type:
exit
press enter and restart your computer

Hope this will HELP...
