Hyperlinks are not working in Outlook express or Word

                You might be facing this issue when you click a webpage link from Microsoft Outlook Express or in Microsoft Word. This problem occur usually when you have no default browsers set or change in file associations. Here are the possible steps to fix the issue.

Step 1 : Check whether Internet explorer is set as your default browser.  You can also set other Internet browsers as your default browser.

Step 2 : Open the Outlook or Word application in without add-ons mode and try to open the Hyperlinks. If the hyperlinks works fine, then you may have to disable add-ons in Outlook or Word application. To access add-ins Click the Microsoft Office Button Button image click Trust Center, and then click Add-ins.

For Outlook use Outlook /a in Run command
For Word - Use winword /a in run command.

Step 3 : Run the Microsoft fix it to fix the problem automatically.

Step 4 : To fix the issue manually click Start, click Run, type the following command in the Run dialog box, and then click OK:
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
Repeat step 1 for each of the following commands:
regsvr32 mshtml.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 msjava.dll
