Change Display Language in Windows 8

                 The Advantage that we have in Windows 8 is changing he system language. In Windows 7, we have a difficulty to change the System Language. Only Windows 7 ultimate and Enterprise editions have the option to install the Multilingual User Interface (Language Pack).  Other edition of Windows 7 such a home premium, home basic etc., needs to upgrade the Operating system edition to ultimate to have the Regional and Language Options. Where as in Windows 8, all user can download and change their display language. Here, we have the steps to change the Windows 8 display language. 


Step 1 : Right-click at the screen's bottom-left corner and from the pop-up menu, choose "Control Panel".


 Step 2 : If your view is by: Category, open "Add a language" under "Clock, Language and Region" group. 

If your view is by: Small Icons, open "Language" option.




Step 3 :  Under the language preference, click on Add a language option. Choose the language pack that you want to install on your computer.




Step 4 : From the list of installed languages, choose the language that you prefer as your operating system display language (e.g. German) and choose "Options" on the right. 

 

Step 4    : Choose to open "Download and install language pack" option.
Press "Yes" to "User Account Control" security warning.

Step 5 :  Now the language pack will start to download and install. Once the installation complete click on close option. 

Step 6 : From the main language preferences window, select your preferred display language and press "Move Up". 

Step 7 : Close all the open Windows and restart your computer. 

Once the Restart process complete, you can avail the new language on your computer options.
